Project | 01 GED Mathematics Review
I worked with a mathematics instructor to design and develop this online review course for students at a residential alternative education program. This course was developed to replace or accompany a previous paper packet that went home with each student over a holiday break which they came back from to immediately engage in the GED Mathematics test.
This course utilizes gaming technology and through a unique new Learning Management System, Classcraft, which works with Google Classroom and YouTube to bring the learner a fun, team-oriented fantasy game twist while learning and reviewing vital material and skills together outside of the classroom.

This is a course I created on the Learning Management System Canvas Instructure. It is comprised of 3 learning modules and designed to provide learners with an knowledge and understanding of what adverse childhood experiences are, how they can affect children and adults, and what can be done in terms of coping skills to mitigate those effects. It was designed with counselors and youth workers in mind as target learners but can be beneficial to anyone with an interest in helping at-risk youth cope with trauma.
